Dr. Mike Bloom is a native of North Idaho, a graduate of Coeur d’Alene High School and the University of Idaho. He received his doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1999 from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1999 Dr. Bloom began working as an Associate Dentist with his Uncle, Dr. Vince Rossi, who operated our Hayden office beginning in 1971. Upon Dr. Rossi’s retirement in 2005, Dr. Bloom purchased the practice. He says “Being able to treat the same patients as his Uncle, as well as the next generation of those patients, is a true honor.” Dr. Bloom is active in the Idaho State Dental Association (ISDA) and Idaho Panhandle Dental Society (IPDS). He is also a past president of the Idaho Panhandle Dental Society (2007-08). Additionally, Dr. Bloom has served on the Panhandle Peer Review Committee since 2005. As a result of this service, in 2010 Dr. Bloom was assigned State Chairman of the ISDA Peer Review Committee. He is a member of Spear Study Club and embraces many opportunities for continuing education in order to provide excellent dentistry to his patients. Dr. Bloom’s true passion is his family, wife Janel, and kids Jack and Maggie. When not in the office, he can be found watching his kids participate in local athletics. He is a proud supporter of local education and athletics including University of Idaho, Coeur d’Alene High School and North Idaho College. Currently he serves on boards for Coeur d’Alene American Legion Baseball and CHS Viking Education Foundation.
